Refund Policy

Last updated: January 2026 Version 3.0

The Znole Freelancer ID Card is a physical credential that is manufactured, personalised, and delivered to you. Once you submit an application and complete payment, the application fee is non-refundable. This page explains why, what exactly is covered by the fee, and the one narrow exception for duplicate payments.

1. Why the fee cannot be refunded

The application fee covers real, one-time costs that are incurred the moment your application enters the system:

  • Physical card production. Each card is printed with your name, photograph, unique ID number, and QR code. Once produced, the card has no value to anyone else.
  • KYC verification. Every application triggers a full identity verification workflow, including a human review of the Video KYC.
  • First delivery. The first delivery attempt is booked with a courier partner at our cost.

A refund would mean returning money that has already been spent producing your own personalised card and verifying your identity. That is why the policy is strictly non-refundable.

2. Situations where a refund is not available

To be clear, the fee is not refunded in any of the following situations:

  • You change your mind after submitting the application.
  • You realise later that you entered incorrect details.
  • The first delivery attempt fails because of an incorrect address, unreachable phone, or unavailability at your end.
  • You decide not to request a second delivery.
  • You choose not to use the card after receiving it.
  • You do not secure a business deal or income through the card.
  • You become ineligible after the card is issued.
  • You lose or damage the card.

The application fee pays for identity verification, card production, and dispatch — not for any business outcome. The card does not guarantee any deal or income. Please read the Terms of Service before applying.

3. If KYC verification fails

If your application is rejected because the KYC could not verify you — for example, your face is not clearly visible in the Video KYC, or your documents do not match — the application fee remains non-refundable. Verification work is performed by the review team the moment the application enters the system. The fee covers that review, whether the outcome is approval or rejection.

Please make sure your face is clearly visible and your documents are valid before you apply.

4. Delivery charges are separate

First delivery — included

The application fee already covers the first delivery attempt. No additional courier charge is due when the card is dispatched for the first time.

Second delivery — ₹55

If the first delivery fails for a reason attributable to you, a second delivery can be requested by paying a re-delivery charge of ₹55. This charge covers the courier cost of the second dispatch. The re-delivery charge is itself non-refundable once paid.

If you do not request a second delivery, the card is held safely by Znole Technology. You can request delivery of the held card at any later date by paying the applicable delivery charge in force at that time. The application fee is not refunded in exchange for surrendering the card.

5. Duplicate payments

The only situation in which a refund may be considered is a duplicate payment — when the payment gateway charges you twice for the same application due to a system error, and only one card is generated.

If this happens:

  1. Report the duplicate charge in writing to [email protected] within seven days of the transaction date.
  2. Include the transaction ID, the payment gateway reference, the date and time of both charges, and your application details.
  3. Our payments team will verify the duplicate charge against the gateway's records.
  4. If a genuine duplicate is confirmed, the excess amount is refunded to the original payment source within 7 to 14 working days.

Only the excess charge is refunded. The original application fee is retained for the card that is being produced.

6. Raising a refund concern

For payment concerns that fall within the duplicate-payment exception in Section 5, write to [email protected]. For formal grievances, write to [email protected]. We acknowledge within 48 hours and respond within 30 days.

All correspondence must include your application reference number and the payment transaction ID.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised from time to time. The version in force on the date of your application is the version that applies to that application. Updates are published on the Znole Technology and Znole X websites.

8. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. This policy is to be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Shipping & Delivery Policy.
